When we arrived, our site was littered with trash, including cigarette butts and old dog poop, and it was obvious that it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I had to clean the site myself, and although maintenance arrived promptly when I asked at the front office for the dog poop to be removed, it was disappointing to have to ask in the first place, especially when checkout time is 10 am and check-in is not until 1 pm. Although this campground has many amenities, it feels like a mobile home park with some RV sites, and it was not a restful or relaxing place. There are lots of kids biking and playing in the road, which is concerning given the high traffic, and although I don't mind kids playing, the level of yelling and screaming every day made it difficult to get work done or even enjoy sitting outside. I loved seeing the dogs being walked every day, but the sheer number of dogs continuously barking (including dogs tied up outside who would lunge at dogs walking by) was very grating and added to the general cacophony. Constant noise was an issue from other sources as well, as there is also music being blasted throughout the day from different sites and from cars at all hours (including once at 4 am), as well as sometimes in the shower. There is lots of traffic as people enter and leave the park, especially at peak times, and there is a nearby train that blares its horn frequently, including throughout the night. Various sites were also not clean and garbage seems to be an issue. Although there were staff driving by regularly, it seemed that garbage rules were being overlooked - the neighbour's dog was constantly pooping right next to our trailer and it was left for hours or days, and there was trash simply left on the site on the other side of us. There were also different cats running around despite the fact that we had to keep ours on a leash at all times. Showers were clean, although there is one stall in the women's bathroom with the baseboard in need of repair, as it is torn open and getting soaked. Laundry was good and the pickleball court was nice. The bingo night was fun, although the WiFi apparently only works in the rec centre or the front office. It was convenient to have mail delivered directly to our site, but we would have preferred to pick it up from the front office. Having the mail trucks drive through every day just adds to the traffic and it was also not ideal as an RVer to have mail dropped off when we were out. Our site was all grass and required a tedious amount of levelling because our wheels on one side kept sinking into the mud. Location was not ideal, as there is significant traffic on the main road and not much to do nearby, although the proximity to Disney is not bad. Overall our stay did not live up to our expectations and based on our experience we would not return again.
